Buy LinkedIn Premium in Nepal — Career, Business & Sales Navigator | Cheapmandu
Premium activated on your own profile through a redemption link. No password sharing, no account access. Career from Rs. 11,000 a year. Pay with eSewa, Khalti, or QR.
Recruiters filter candidates before a human ever reads a CV. Premium changes what you can do about that: message hiring managers directly, see where you rank against other applicants, and find roles by describing them in plain language rather than guessing at keywords.
For Nepali professionals there’s a second reason, and it’s often the bigger one. International remote work is now a realistic path, and LinkedIn is where those roles are posted and those recruiters look. A well-built profile with Premium behind it is the difference between applying into a void and being found.
Cheapmandu activates every LinkedIn subscription through a redemption link you click yourself while signed into your own account. We never ask for your password.
First: You May Get a Month Free
LinkedIn offers a one-month free trial to eligible accounts that haven’t had Premium before.
If you’ve never subscribed, start there. Go to LinkedIn, pick a plan, and take the trial. You’ll find out whether Premium actually changes anything for you before spending a rupee — and if you’re job hunting on a short timeline, a free month may be all you need.
We’d rather tell you that than sell you something LinkedIn will give you for nothing.
Come back to us when the trial has ended, you’ve established Premium is worth it, and you want to continue without an international card at a price that makes sense in rupees.
Pricing
| Plan | Duration | Price (NPR) | Per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium Career | 12 Months | Rs. 11,000 | Rs. 917 |
| Business Premium | 2 Months | Rs. 3,500 | Rs. 1,750 |
| Business Premium | 12 Months | Rs. 15,000 | Rs. 1,250 |
| Sales Navigator | 1 Month | Rs. 6,500 | Rs. 6,500 |
How this compares to buying direct
LinkedIn’s own pricing, on annual billing:
| Plan | Official | Ours | Saving |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium Career | ~Rs. 32,100/year | Rs. 11,000 | 66% below |
| Premium Business | ~Rs. 77,200/year | Rs. 15,000 | 81% below |
| Sales Navigator Core | ~Rs. 16,100/month | Rs. 6,500 | 60% below |
Worth knowing: LinkedIn prices fairly consistently worldwide — Indian users pay roughly the same as American ones — so unlike some subscriptions, there’s no cheaper regional rate you’re missing out on. These are genuine savings, not just payment convenience.
LinkedIn has also been raising Career pricing for new subscribers, from $29.99 toward $39.99 a month. Check what it quotes you at checkout before comparing.
On Business Premium: two months at Rs. 1,750/month versus twelve at Rs. 1,250/month. Take the two-month plan only if you have a specific short project — a funding round, a hiring push, a three-month client search. Otherwise the annual is Rs. 500 a month cheaper.
Which Plan Fits Your Goals?
The difference comes down to what you’re trying to do: get hired, get clients, or get meetings.
Premium Career — For Job Seekers
Built for people actively applying.
- 5 InMail credits/month — message recruiters without a connection
- Featured Applicant — your application surfaces higher for hiring managers
- AI Job Search — describe the role you want, get matched openings
- AI Career Coach — maps your skill gaps to a learning plan
- AI profile writing — suggested headlines, About sections, experience bullets
- Applicant Insights — see how you compare to other candidates for a specific role
- Job Tracker — every application and its status in one place
- Profile viewers — full list, 90-day history
- LinkedIn Learning — the full library, unlimited
- Duo pricing — two people, one purchase, two separate full accounts
Business Premium — For Networking and Client Work
Suits freelancers, consultants, and small business owners.
- 15 InMail credits/month — three times Career’s allocation, and unused credits roll over for up to three months
- Unlimited profile browsing — no view caps
- Company insights — hiring trends, growth data, employee patterns
- Profile viewers — 365-day history instead of 90
- AI message drafting and profile optimisation
- LinkedIn Learning — same unlimited access
Sales Navigator — For B2B Sales
LinkedIn’s prospecting tool, and a genuinely different product rather than a bigger Premium.
- 50 InMail credits/month — the highest of any plan
- 50+ search filters — company size, industry, seniority, location, growth signals
- Saved lead and account lists — up to 10,000 leads
- Lead and account recommendations based on your saved searches
- CRM sync — Salesforce, HubSpot, and others
- Real-time alerts when leads change jobs or appear in the news
- 2,500+ results per search
If you’re doing structured outbound prospecting, skip Business Premium and go straight to Sales Navigator. Business gives you more InMails than Career; Sales Navigator gives you the search infrastructure to know who to send them to. Those are different problems.
What’s New in 2026
AI Job Search. Type “entry-level data analyst in Kathmandu” or “remote marketing manager at a SaaS company” and LinkedIn surfaces matching roles, suggests profile edits, and flags skills worth picking up.
AI Career Coach. Reviews your profile and activity, then recommends specific courses and certifications. Useful if you’re moving between fields and don’t know which gaps actually matter.
Job Tracker. Application statuses in one place. Replaces the spreadsheet most job seekers abandon by week three.
AI message drafting. LinkedIn drafts InMails and connection requests, adjusting tone to the recipient. Worth using as a first draft — generic outreach still reads as generic.
Crosscheck. Lets Premium subscribers compare responses from different AI models side by side. Currently US accounts only, so Nepali subscribers won’t see it yet.
Making Your Profile Findable
Premium gets you tools. A weak profile wastes them. This is the part most people skip and it’s the part that determines whether any of it works.
Your headline is the most valuable text on LinkedIn. It appears in every search result, every comment, every connection request. Don’t use your job title alone. Use what you do plus what you’re looking for: “Data Analyst | SQL, Python, Power BI | Open to remote roles” beats “Data Analyst at ABC Company” every time.
Recruiters search by keyword, so write for the search. If you want frontend roles, the words “React,” “TypeScript,” and “frontend developer” need to appear in your headline, About section, and experience bullets. Not stuffed — used naturally, but present. A profile that never says “React” will not appear when a recruiter searches for React developers.
The About section is where you convert interest into a message. Three short paragraphs: what you do, what you’ve delivered with specifics, and what you’re looking for. Write in the first person. Put your email in the last line if you’re actively looking.
Experience bullets need numbers. “Managed social media” tells a recruiter nothing. “Grew Instagram following from 2K to 18K in eight months, increasing enquiries 40%” tells them what you’d do for them.
Skills matter more than people think. Recruiter searches match against your Skills section directly. List the specific tools and technologies you actually use, and get a few endorsed.
Photo and banner. A clear headshot, and a banner that isn’t the default grey. Profiles with photos get substantially more views, and the banner is free space most people waste.
Set “Open to Work” to recruiters only if you’re employed. It signals availability to recruiters without announcing it to your current employer.
Location matters for remote roles. If you’re targeting international remote work, say so explicitly — “Open to remote roles worldwide” in your headline or About section. Recruiters filter by location and you want to appear in the right filters.
Using InMail Without Wasting It
On Career you get five InMails a month. At Rs. 11,000 a year that’s about Rs. 183 per message. Most people burn them badly.
What doesn’t work: “Hi, I’m interested in opportunities at your company. Please find my CV attached.” Every recruiter gets fifty of these a week and they read none of them.
What does work:
Be specific about the role. Reference the actual job posting and its reference number if there is one. It shows you’re not mass-messaging.
Lead with the match, not the ask. One sentence on why you fit — the specific overlap between what they need and what you’ve done. Then the ask.
Keep it under 100 words. Recruiters read on their phone between meetings. Long messages get postponed and then forgotten.
Ask one clear question. “Would it be worth a short call this week?” is answerable. “I’d love to learn more about opportunities” isn’t.
Message the hiring manager, not just the recruiter. Recruiters screen; hiring managers decide. Sales Navigator and Business make finding them easier.
Follow up once, after a week. Once. Not three times.
Don’t send on Friday afternoon or the weekend. Tuesday to Thursday morning gets read.
One well-researched InMail to the right person beats five generic ones. With five a month, that’s the whole strategy.
Reading Applicant Insights Properly
Career’s Applicant Insights shows how you compare to other people who applied for a specific role — seniority, skills, and education distribution.
Use it before you apply, not after. If you’re in the bottom quarter on the skills they care about, your application is unlikely to land, and your time is better spent on a role where you’re in the top half.
It tells you what to fix. If most applicants have a certification you don’t, that’s the gap. LinkedIn Learning is included in your subscription and you can close it in a weekend.
Applicant count matters more than the insights. Career lets you filter for jobs with fewer than ten applicants. A role with eight applicants and a decent match beats one with four hundred applicants and a perfect match.
Apply early. Most hires come from applications in the first few days. A role that’s been open three weeks has usually shortlisted already.
LinkedIn Learning, Actually Used
Every plan includes the full LinkedIn Learning library, and most subscribers never open it. It’s a substantial part of what you’re paying for.
Certificates go on your profile automatically, with a verification link. They’re not degrees, but they’re visible evidence you’re keeping current.
Pick courses that match the gaps Applicant Insights showed you. That’s the loop: see what you’re missing, close it, add the certificate, apply again stronger.
Short courses beat long ones for profile purposes. Three completed two-hour courses in tools you actually use look better than one abandoned forty-hour course.
Download for offline. The mobile app supports offline viewing, which matters on a commute or during load-shedding.
The AI Career Coach picks courses for you based on your profile and target role, which removes the hardest part — knowing what to learn next.
LinkedIn for Nepali Professionals
Some things that apply specifically here.
International remote roles are the real opportunity. Nepali salaries and international remote salaries are different numbers entirely, and LinkedIn is where those roles are advertised. Premium’s value is highest for exactly this: reaching recruiters who’d never otherwise see a profile from Nepal, and finding roles filtered to remote rather than location-locked.
Your profile is competing globally, which cuts both ways. A weak profile disappears. A strong one with specific numbers, named tools, and clear availability competes perfectly well.
Say you’re open to remote work explicitly. Recruiters filter by location. If your profile only says “Kathmandu,” you’re filtered out of roles you could do. “Kathmandu, Nepal — open to remote roles worldwide” keeps you in.
Time zones are an advantage worth stating. Nepal overlaps with European mornings and Asian business hours. If you’re applying to a European company, say you can work their hours. It removes an objection before it’s raised.
Certificates carry weight when a degree is unfamiliar. International recruiters may not recognise your university, but they recognise Google, Microsoft, and LinkedIn Learning certificates. That’s a gap worth closing deliberately — worth pairing with Coursera Plus in Nepal for the professional certificates recruiters know.
Build in public. Post about what you’re working on. Nepali professionals with visible work — a project write-up, a technical post, a case study — get approached rather than having to apply.
Free vs Premium
| Feature | Free | Premium |
|---|---|---|
| InMail | None | 5–50/month by plan |
| Profile viewers | Last 5 only | Full list, 90–365 days |
| Featured Applicant | No | Yes (Career) |
| AI Job Search | No | Yes |
| AI Career Coach | No | Yes |
| Applicant Insights | No | Yes |
| Job Tracker | Limited | Full |
| LinkedIn Learning | Limited | Full library |
| Company insights | Basic | Advanced |
| Profile browsing | Capped | Unlimited (Business/Sales) |
| Search results | Limited | Up to 2,500+ (Sales Navigator) |
A free account is a CV that sits there. Premium is the part that lets you reach out.
What you can do free, and should do regardless: build a complete profile, post regularly, comment on other people’s work, and connect deliberately with people in your field. Premium accelerates a good profile. It doesn’t substitute for one.
Who Should Buy Which
Job seekers. Premium Career. Featured Applicant and Applicant Insights are the two features that change outcomes rather than just giving you more data to look at.
Freelancers and consultants. Business Premium. Fifteen InMails and company insights let you research a prospect before you pitch instead of after.
Small business owners. Business Premium, twelve months. Best per-month rate if you’re using it continuously for partner discovery and competitor research.
B2B sales teams. Sales Navigator. The filters and saved lists are the point; the InMail allocation is a bonus.
Students and recent graduates. Premium Career. Featured Applicant helps when your experience is thin, and Learning certificates fill out a sparse profile.
Career changers. Premium Career. The AI Career Coach plus Applicant Insights is the most efficient way to work out what’s actually missing between where you are and where you want to be.

Common Mistakes
Buying Premium before fixing the profile. Premium amplifies what’s there. If your headline is your job title and your About section is empty, Premium gets more people to a profile that doesn’t convert.
Buying Sales Navigator when you needed Career. They solve different problems and Sales Navigator is far more expensive. Job seekers want Career.
Buying Business Premium for prospecting. If you’re doing structured outbound, Sales Navigator’s filters do work Business can’t touch. Business is for light networking and company research.
Letting InMails expire. Career credits don’t roll over. Business credits roll for three months. Use them or lose them.
Subscribing for twelve months for a three-month job hunt. Premium Career earns its keep during an active search. If you expect to be hired in two months, that’s what the shorter plans are for.
Never opening LinkedIn Learning. It’s included. Not using it is leaving a substantial part of the value unspent.
Tools That Pair Well With Premium
Writing your posts and articles. Draft with ChatGPT Plus in Nepal, then tighten the language with QuillBot Premium in Nepal before you publish.
Certificates recruiters recognise. Coursera Plus in Nepal — Google, IBM, and Meta professional certificates that go straight onto your profile and mean something to international recruiters.
Polishing proposals and applications. Run cover letters and client proposals through Grammarly Premium in Nepal.
Pitch decks and one-pagers. Gamma AI Pro in Nepal turns an outline into a presentation — relevant if you’re using Sales Navigator to book meetings.
For developers. Build skills through LinkedIn Learning, then ship them with GitHub Copilot in Nepal. A GitHub profile linked from your LinkedIn does more for a developer application than a certificate does.
